Upper West Side Celebrates Israel

On Sunday, April 15, Celebrate Israel on the Upper West Side! Join Congregation Habonim and partner-schools, synagogues, and Jewish organizations of the UWS as we come together for a neighborhood-wide celebration of Yom Ha'atzmaut, featuring a concert by the renowned Yemen Blues, a Street Fair with lots of family fun, tastings, talks, and more. UWS Celebrates Israel is a collaborative effort of Congregation Habonim, the UWS Celebrates Israel Coalition and the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan and is made possible with generous funding by UJA-Federation NY

DON'T MISS the Congregation Habonim table at the Street Fair!* Stop by just to say hi, participate in some fun activities for children and families, pick up some cool "swag," and take a chance on our raffle, with fabulous prizes soon to be announced.

Some of the events of the day are free, and others require tickets - check out the lineup and make your reservations at www.uwsIsrael.org

*PS Habonim members, while you're enjoying the festivities, come represent Habonim at our booth on West 94th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue. You can lead fun activities, and answer questions and tell people what you love about Congregation Habonim. Members of all ages are needed to step up and represent at our booth. Contact Deena Ecker at [email protected] to sign up. Time slots are available between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.
